Agoura High Class of 1969's 50th in 2019 Reunion Weekend April 26 - 28, 2019 Details, Details . . . Friday, April 26, 2019, Evening: Meet and Greet Gathering at The Terrace Room at the Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks.  This was a great "kick-off" for the weekend. Sat. April 27, 2019, MAIN EVENT: Daytime Reunion at Calamigos! From 11 AM to 4 PM. at the Calamigos Ranch (327 Latigo Canyon Road, Malibu 90265) There were cabanas by the lake, wooden tables and chairs for dining. We enjoyed a delicious traditional BBQ (see below for details) and a no host bar for spirited beverages.  Live and classic music entertained and beautiful and sad memory boards for those classmates who have passed away.  Yearbooks and scrapbooks were shares. Southern Classic BBQ: Slow Smoked BBA Beef Ribs with Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce. Grilled Mesquite Chicken Quartered with House-made Tangy Carolina Sauce. Sides: ** Heirloom Potato Salad with Confit Garlic & Grain Mustard. Seasonal Grilled Vegetables. Three Bean Vegetarian Chili. Salad Bar: ** Wild Arugula Scarborough Farms Greens, Romaine lettuce, Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Grilled Baby Corn, Marinated Roasted Red Peppers, Chick Peas, Grilled Baby Squash, Japanese Mushroom, House Garlic Croutons, Caesar Dressing, Lemon Vinaigrette, Balsamic dressing. Refreshments:  Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper. Desserts:  Big Sticks, Fruit Popsicles. Snacks:  Fresh Popped Popcorn, Cotton Candy. Sun. April 28, 2019:  Daytime picnic in Chumash Park and a visit to the AHS campus 11 AM.  This BYOE picnic at Chumash Park was well attended.  For those who might not remember, Chumash Park is at the end of Driver Road, (west) past the high school.  The picnic conluded with a visit to the school campus.
